Thanks for this op. -Slight spoiler- I played it this weekend Allies vs AI, and op. ended after the first battle! Spent a ton of time approaching the ridge just the right way,. only to take town and have the op. end (after the first battle). Thought you might want to know. MikeeGTO

I can confirm the P110 21" as a great monitor and especially if you get it refurbed. I have a Viper II card (great card, horrible drivers) that allows me to run it at the max res. if i want. The mon also has one of the largest viewable areas and a pitch of .25 which really helps the eyes (used for CAD apps). MikeeGTO

Happened to a King Tiger, don't remember if the screen actually said "bogged" but he just spun the turrent shooting at what he could while he was on a stone wall, until i got a team up to him and knocked him out via side turrent hit. Talk about feeling good!

I was fortunate enough to play it earlier, great map and a very "fun" mix of assets.

Can't seem to find it on the Scen. and Ops page? I really enjoy the ops, so i'm looking forward to trying something like this out. Thanks,

****SPOILERS**** Just finished playing that one last night as the germans. The pioneers don't do a thing w/the satchels against the tanks. But I took out ALL but three tanks (3 taken out by my armour earlier) using infantry panzerfausts. After that, well place hmgs did the rest. Mikee

To help confirm: I'm just about to set up for battle five. . so it can be done (I did make sure that flanks were covered and cleared -even during the night missions-. . maybe that helped?) MikeeGTO

Jeer, How did you OC your 300 to 450? The most I can get w/out melt-down is just under 400, even then it's not too stable? Off course OCing is rather new to me. Andyhints would be appreciated. thanks, Mikee

Can't believe it! got Shogun to ease the pain of not having CM for the w/end, turns out the game doesn't work with my vcard (Viper II). . Diamond says they'll have a driver update this monday that should fix it. . the same day that CM has to be here for me (ordered last June). Talk about ironic, or is it, haste makes waste. . . i can't get any more angry so i think i'll get extra drunk tonight

Don't post much, but have been following CM since the beginning. Recently moved to S.Fl. to start Investor Relations and marketing depts. for an aviation company. Spent previous 7 years improving stock markets so you guys can make a lot of money on the Nasdaq. Mikee

Don't know if anyone noticed, but Tim at "Games Domain" just got his review copy and wrote: ". . in contrast to the pre-E3 release drought, we're now about to see the games flowing again. The most eagerly awaited of these is probably the WWII 3D simultaneous turn wargame Combat Mission, which has now finally gone gold. It'll be available for purchase soon at a price of around $50. My review copy arrived this morning, and naturally enough installing it was the first thing I did after getting home from work. On what I've seen so far of the final version - the last I saw of the beta was back around beta 52 or so - it looks like it'll live up to expectations. While you can try the Gold Demo for yourself (see the GD Demo section), it's not until you get the real thing, with a myriad of missions, plus scenario generator, that you can begin to appreciate the scale and scope of what's on offer. It's a truly staggering game, and one which while not to everyone's tastes will certainly attract a whole new breed of wargamers, much like Panzer General did some four or five years ago. The tension of watching each minute of action unfold is excellent, and the play-by-mail mode will be something that should work really well (I just hope I get the time to play plenty of games!)." I'm running out of drool!!!!
