  3. ...109 Goodwrench reflected back upon the first time had fallen in love with a fish. "My God! What are we doing, men? First sheep, then fish (not to mention Tanker's gnads!). It's time to stop this nonsense! Surely we have better things to be doing, other than copulating with wildlife and livestock. For instance... ------------------ Andreas himself will attest that my massive ego and foolhardy belief in my own greatness would never allow for me to be anyone's worshipper - Hamsters

He reached into his kreel and ripped out another fish. 6. Hehe...Jason and Michael, I highly recommend that you two take your banter to the FAQ thread. You could make an interesting storyline out of your comments! Now THERE's a place to display some wit (whether it be high-brow or low-brow is up to you). Besides, Croda and Mace are getting tired of playing with the livestock ------------------ Andreas himself will attest that my massive ego and foolhardy belief in my own greatness would never allow for me to be anyone's worshipper - Hamsters
  7. Actually, it's been reported that Bush is quite the PC game fanatic (plays them everyday at lunch). Hehe...I could easily picture Bush giggling madly as he sent off his latest PBEM. Al Bore, on the other, hand would endlessly debate and exaggerate minor inconsistencies in the game: "The armor on the Panther was only vulnerable to Tungsten rounds on the uppermost 1% of the glacis" "That movie can't be right. I demand that it be reprocessed!" LOL! ------------------ Andreas himself will attest that my massive ego and foolhardy belief in my own greatness would never allow for me to be anyone's worshipper - Hamsters
  8. ...finish commanding my gamey penguin charge into the Hamsters' front line!" FW190A Gustav stopped throwing fish for a moment and pondered all of the bestiality of the past few days. His eyes then focused on the limp fish in his hands. With scarcely a second thought he... ------------------ Andreas himself will attest that my massive ego and foolhardy belief in my own greatness would never allow for me to be anyone's worshipper - Hamsters
  9. If he was cursing and crying out "Gamey wanker!", it was probably Lawyer completing one of his turns in our game ------------------ Andreas himself will attest that my massive ego and foolhardy belief in my own greatness would never allow for me to be anyone's worshipper - Hamsters
  10. We were issued one M-16 (can't remember which variation...) per tank. Never saw an M4. This was back in '91-94. Our individual 45's were replaced by M9's (Berettas) shortly after I arrived at the unit. ------------------ Andreas himself will attest that my massive ego and foolhardy belief in my own greatness would never allow for me to be anyone's worshipper - Hamsters

  12. ROTFLMAO! On a more serious note, you might find what you're looking for under this link: http://www.army.mil/aps/aps_toc.htm ------------------ Andreas himself will attest that my massive ego and foolhardy belief in my own greatness would never allow for me to be anyone's worshipper - Hamsters
  13. I understand that, but it still needs oxygen to burn. Where is it getting it from?
  14. Nope, they didn't cry gamey. In fact, I think everyone got a good chuckle out of our impromptu tactics. In a real battle, of course, you would have to assume that the enemy even understood you.
  15. Hehe...I had a similar experience during a training experience while in the Guards (using MILES gear). In the middle of a firefight, several of us pretended to run out of ammunition, calling back "Christ, get us some more ammo up here!" At that, several of the dug in OPFOR rushed forward - only to be instantly cut down.
  16. Good one, chrisl! How about: CM2: Winter Fashions with Martha von Stewart CM2: Weekend at Uncle Joe's ------------------ Andreas himself will attest that my massive ego and foolhardy belief in my own greatness would never allow for me to be anyone's worshipper - Hamsters
  17. You should read BTS's policy on this forum: No flaming, please. OK, bad joke. As far as alerting BTS, I'd send a quick email to Matt for a start. ------------------ Andreas himself will attest that my massive ego and foolhardy belief in my own greatness would never allow for me to be anyone's worshipper - Hamsters

We also have... ------------------ Andreas himself will attest that my massive ego and foolhardy belief in my own greatness would never allow for me to be anyone's worshipper - Hamsters
  19. LOL! Great post, Capt. I missed it the first time around, but am glad that I saw it this time. I actually didn't see anything gamey in the Friday night-porn-watching-players approach to the game. It was VERY ahistorical, but that's beside the point BIG difference. I hate gamey but love ahistorical play... So the billions of dollars that the US Army invests in SIMNET, NTC, Grafenwohr, JANUS, blah blah blah is wasted money, eh?
  20. ...gorge ourselves to our hearts' content. Not only that, but we salvage this thread once again. How in hell did it end up halfway down the second page? It's not as if... ------------------ Andreas himself will attest that my massive ego and foolhardy belief in my own greatness would never allow for me to be anyone's worshipper - Hamsters
  21. LOL! Good line, Hamsters. My old sig just got usurped. Group Hug everyone, before the padlock slams on.
  22. Interesting point to ponder, Pillar. Here's one complication that you might consider that would add a certain level of "gameyness" to these tactics: What impact does absolute spotting have on them? If you removed this factor, how many of these tactics would fall apart? ------------------ "As for Croda's spelling it was unlikely to be unintentional since he tries to put the ass in everything." - Simon Fox
  23. ..."Boy, this stuff sure tastes gamey. psstttt! What's up with all of this fuzz in my mouth?" Croda stopped laughing long enough to exclaim, "Mace, you dufus, why that's not wool in your mouth, it's..."
  24. Your comments are well taken, JPS, but if you'll read my previous post, you'll see that you've missed the mark regarding the latter half of this thread. No harm done, as it's easy to miss the point of the last two pages if you haven't been really involved with it. Jason's original posting WAS a good read. In fact, you'll notice that my first few postings didn't even really dispute his findings; I merely described what I thought to be at the root of his dispute with Michael. It's his condescending attitude that's caused such a ruckus.
