It is 30 volumes ( ammusing note from the cover it has the price for each volume as $3.50AUS and $3.50US, Nowadays $3.50US would be about $8+ Aus.) I just looked inside the front cover it says it is based on the original text of Lt-Col Eddy Bauer(who is Swiss I believe), Editor-in-chief is Brigadier Peter Young DSO, MC, MA. Published by Orbis 1972,1978,1983 after that I don't know. Also has a copyright in 1966 for Jasper Polus, Monaco. Number of pages including index is 2,880. Pages are A4 size. It is a great piece of work, although the scale is generally larger than CMBO it is still an excellent resource material. Another little update for the 'Duke'. Turn 4 and Speedy 'tank killer extroardinaire' strikes again, yes another of my tanks managed to ambush a Churchill VIII firing 3 shots the final one managed to penetrate the front turret knocking out the cigar chomping churchill. A bit more detail for those that don't know what happened and so I can gloat a bit more. It seems that on turn 3 the drugs wore off and my tank managed to score a gun hit on the Wolverine, which quickly withdrew. This was quickly followed up by my tank knocking out a second Tank Destroyer? which was located in the vicinity of the Wolverine. Thats a Wolverine with GI Joe as the gunner, it has fired two shots at my tank with both hitting, while my crack gunner can't hit the side of a barn. Maybe that crack means they're on crack! I think if you get a catastrophic kill the entire crew is killed or trapped in the burning tank. However you shouldn't think of the normal kill brew up as happening instantaneously, the fire starts small and then grows to engulf the tank giving the surviving crewmembers time to escape the flames. As for myself I haven't started my battle so I don't mind redoing the setup for the reinforcement job. It actually sounds kinda interesting to do it that way, only thing I would like to add would be to extend the game length by say 5 turns to give time to deploy the troops from road march. ------------------ Work is the curse of the drinking class. OK time to embarrass people lets do a game update. Bullethead:- Just as I was about to win Bullethead decided to return to the real world. My lead Puma was only about 100m from the finish line. PeterNZer:- Still in the setup phase thanks to Peter suffering from a case of premature ejaculation( maybe it was his new ewe). Remember Peter this time place all your units before hitting the big GO. Roborat:- Roborat appears to be suffering from a case of Alzhiemers as he has so far forgotten his password twice now. OGSF:- At last my artillery men have finally pushed my 105 gun into a position from which it can see some burning buildings, soon I will be having some fun.
