And there is another example of learning the game and UI before coming to an opinion.

This post by Moon from 2009 encourages me to believe they'll start a third team to help churn out a Eastfront game at a faster pace. Maybe we will get it before 2015.
Now that is good to hear, the guys that did CMA did a good job I assume they are who he is talking about.
-
And an eye patch... don't forget the eye patch!
Don't you mean a monocle?
Eye patches are for pirates and Israeli generals.
-
If things go well I predict the Eastern Front release will be on the 70th anniversary of the end of the war.
If things don't go so well it will 3-5 years after that.
If things go really bad the world will blow up before it gets released.

Good to see your grip on reality is as tenuous as ever.
And on page 2 what are all you people in daylight land doing?

As such I declare Boo's little part of Ohio to be an Unca Stukey protectora...protectiri...hell, i'll just annex the joint and call it even.

Damnit how many times do I have to kill that tank???

You want me to wait till July 15th to get drunk?
You heartless bastard.

LOL no matter how many times they're told they just never seem to understand that the CMx2 series is totally seperate from the CMx1 series, the only thing the two series have in common is the CM name.
Troops cannot ride on tanks in CMBN, troops have never ridden on tanks in any CMx2 game.
Maybe try this CMx1 is Space Invaders and CMx2 is Asteroids, both games are about aliens and spaceships and shooting stuff but that is all they have in common. Does that help?

But, I am an Old One of the Peng Challenge Thread.
So you're like Stuka then.

Oh no he's back.

I would not expect them.

Just saw a cool movie "Jackboots on Whitehall" it's sort of a WW2 version of "Team America".
-
I can't believe I read through 12 pages of this tripe. And it all started because one fellow isn't enjoying the game, morphed into a Bill Clinton explanation of "fun"........then topped off with URC vs Steve.
Must admit the URC vs Steve aspect is fun to watch.
Yes got to agree the URC vs Steve part is the most entertaining aspect of this thread.

As others have said it is standard practice to describe wind direction as where it is coming from not to.WIND: 2000 5000 7000 10000 14000 18500A: 090/15 090/15 090/15 090/10 MS02 090/10 MS10 VRB/10 MS19
B: 360/15 350/15 340/15 340/20 MS01 340/15 MS09 350/15 MS17
The quote is an excerpt from an aviation forecast, first line of figures is altitude, the A and B lines are forecast winds on either side of a front it reads as direction wind is coming from in degrees / wind speed in knots.

Would you two get a room.
It's indecent.
-
Bah real ones are easy, computer ones are where you seperate the men from the boys.
-
Is it limited to small maps, or is it just more noticeable with small maps?
Steve
Steve
I get it on larger maps to, though it is more noticable on the smaller maps I think as it is a greater percentage of the map that is obscured.

So I need to have an Oedipus Complex to advance beyond the rank of Nuclear Submarine ?
No you need to be able to fly a Sopwith Pup.

got mine today a bit over a week since I got the email ,that's not to bad to Australia from the US.Had the same problem as most seen to be having with the box getting dented by the USPS ,mine was just a small one on the back edge near the spine ,a little pressure bent it mostly back in place.
Mine turned up today to, no damage.
-
WooHoo the plastisteel box has arrived!!
Now I can crush you all with my super duper powerup version of the game.
-
It's all the same bum sniffing stuff isn't it?

Hey GaJ
Maybe I miss understand but I have had no problems with this.... unless I am zoomed (x key) in 3 or 4 times... then I have to zoom out (z key)... but the camera goes way past map edge... see pics of level 3 4 and 5... level 3 was taken with double screen, CM:BN on wide screen, this thread on regulard screen...
G'day Fredrock, here are a couple of screenies that show why I would wish to be able to move the camera back a bit more.
This is as far back as it will go and completely unzoomed.
As you can see the bottom section of the map cannot be seen in the first screenshot, it doesn't need much but being able to move the cam back a little more would be nice.
Can Vehicles not drive over foxholes?

Is the gap big enough? Sometimes it takes a couple of charges to open up a gap big enough for vehicles.
Also check this thread it could be a possible bug.
