I was watching an episode of 'Tales of the Gun' on The History Channel several months ago. FWIW, they mentioned the ammo loadout on an M2 was 2 ball, 1 AP, 1 incendiary, 1 tracer.

Fionn, if you are referring to the Arnhem scenario 'Ham n' Jam' the Brits are regular.

No, you can't.
Although, perhaps you COULD redo one kind of grass texture to include something interesting in that tile. It'd be flat, but it might look neat.
Oh, and it is Madmatt - only one capital letter.

There IS a hotkey to save a screenshot, just hit the 'Print Screen' button.

I've noticed that Arty fire takes twice as long under at least two conditions - no LOS to the target and when the FO is hidden.

My addiction is to frozen pizza, Hostess frosted donuts, and orange juice. Plus whatever carbonated, sugar-filled beverage is cheapest.
I didn't notice the rolling papers at first, but Carentan pointed it out in the chat room. Nice touch.
One problem, not enough military books! C'mon, man, you have to have AT LEAST half a dozen strewn around.
I noticed only three books. From the looks of it - some book on the Civil War (American), The Encyclopedia of Weapons of World War Two, and Hunnicut's Sherman book.

Likely not. As someone who is going through all the old threads, I can say that the same questions come up with surprising frequency.
I'm not talking the same 10 questions, either. It's more like a core of 50+ questions that get asked over and over again.
Some questions get asked weekly while a queston like this comes up maybe once every three or four months.

I picked up a couple 1/6 Ultimate Solider figures at Toys R Us for half price!
$30 for two figures is a good price and, although I don't have much money, I've been wanting to buy these guys for awhile now. Can't wait to see the new 1/18 scale figures!

Are there any crews that AREN'T gamey to use?
I am in a QB and I have two jeep crews that I shoved into the line temporarily.
I mean, they're JEEP CREWS. How valuable can they be?

Hey, that looks like my house.
Food containers and WWII books strewn everywhere. Gotta love it!

While there are no squads equipped solely with MP44s, there are two squad types equipped solely with MP40s - the VG SMG squad (8 SMGs) and the Fusilier SMG squad (9 SMGs.

You can be rest assured that a complete unit database is being worked on (by me, at least)
When (if) I get it done is another question.
I already have complete point cost charts for the Americans and British (available if anyone wants them) and after I finish the point cost, I will tackle unit info.

I just click on a squad and follow the command line back to find an HQ unit.
Also, remember that HQs have small unit bases, so they are easily distinguishable from squads. Of course, teams also have small bases, but if you click on a team you can again just follow the command line back to an HQ.
Both means of finding an HQ are kind of clunky, but I am so used to doing it by now it is second nature.

According to Steve, each online sale is approximately equal to ten in store sales.
About the amount of sales - BTS underestimated demand and sold out their initial stock in one week. And enough units of CM1 have already sold to assure a CM2.

If you care, CM was coded mostly in C++ from what I remember Steve or Charles saying many months ago.

Gee, I only purchased three games on that list. I voted for CM and Roller Coaster Tycoon, which is a blast to play. Great fun playing with my younger step-sister.

The following threads all deal with the modeling of sharpshooters in CM (I checked them to make sure):

This last thread is the best of the bunch.

I am playing a QB with two M20s. Man! Those .50 cal MGs fire FAST from the vehicles. They really unload the ammo quick.
A .50 cal HMG crew will fire maybe 6 bursts a turn. The .50cals on the M20s were up to dozen a turn!

No real need to search. Scott did a great job nailing every reason spot on.
Of course, Scott was probably IN on some of those discussions himself.

I posted a link on another thread about MGs and I'll post it again here.

This thread discusses armor penetration of MGs and has a link to two pretty penetration charts of MGs vs halftracks.
Hey, BTS, how about putting the penetration charts on the add-on CD?
Jason

Apparently this doesn't hold too well at night as I learned recently.

Here is a link to an old thread with yet another link to a penetration chart of the .50cal and MG42 vs a halftrack.

Is it me or is the force size 1000 the maximum for a QB?

A new upper limit of 5000 points is available in ver. 1.02 (only available on new CDs). My one experience with a battle this size is that the game was ... boring.
Too many units and my PC is too slow to process the turns (like 5-10 minutes).
