German Panther changed to M1A wit 1.10 ?
chasd replied to Bonito's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
<BLOCKQUOTE>quote:</font><HR>I did attack him from all side, about 150m-300m away<HR></BLOCKQUOTE> After some testing, at 300m a Stuart can easily kill a Panther from the side, and im willing to bet a well placed stone can kill it from behind. So im wagering it was one of those unlucky draws. So better luck next time. -

***Contains some spoiler info about 'A Walk In Paris' Scen. Are you saying that your Shermans could not get a penertration on the frontal armor of the Panther? GOTTA BE A BUG! Try waiting for the reinforcements and shoot at their behinds and/or shoot at the Panthers from the side at close range with bazookas (dont expect a frontal penertration). CM image "sharing" continues in DOD Half Life Mod...
chasd replied to medlinke's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
I was browsing "their" forum, and stumbled across this post- http://www.dayofdefeatmod.com/forums/ubb/Forum3/HTML/000029.html Some person wanted a warez copy of our beloved game sent to him, the reason being 'it might get lost in the mail'. HA! A likely excuse. So I explained to him gently why he should not do that. (posted under name AlexBuchner). Some other reason he did not want to pay for it were 'the manual is probably pretty lousy' , and 'it has no box'. -
<BLOCKQUOTE>quote:</font><HR>Originally posted by busboy: Hey all, This is kind of off topic, but I know that from this group I can get the answer, so I hope the moderators don't mind this thread. Anyway, I need info (and preferably pictures) on 1870s era military uniforms from Denmark and Germany. Links, discriptions, and pictures would help me greatly. Thanks in advance, <HR></BLOCKQUOTE> Do you mean Prussian military unifroms? These are Prussian Infantry from the battle of Sedan, 1870.

something is very wrong with 1.1
chasd replied to Heathen1's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
Stuka, This particualr AT Gun had 50 rounds of HE so I doubt it would need speciffic orders to pop off one measily round. But Madmatt is right, maybe the gunner was out the back having a pee, who can tell, there can be thousands of possibilities. -

I had the same problem today, my 75mm AT Bunker was being fired at for a whole turn by a 6lbr. The 75mm didnt bother to even target it, and before I could order it to target it, the 6lbr had already damaged the gun. -
Yes ill do it, send it <a href="mailto:chasb@primus.com.au>here</a> and ill get back to you right away

Whatever you do, dont rush your infantry into a town. I did that today and the guy had flamethrowing halftracks. The battle turned out to be a huge barbeque-american infantry snaggers well done as the main course. -

To answer your question, no, not yet, maybe soon. Also, forum is usually not like this, but it seems they are giving mental homes internet access. -

I am fifteen. I prefer reading, veiwing and playing with anything that has a war and history theme, over any other crap. My Grandad didnt fight, but was blown up by some German Rocket in London...he lived though. {edit GEE this didnt come out right at all} [This message has been edited by chasd (edited 12-24-2000).]
