  1. The problem might be due to the fact that the AI has an intermittent case of dumb ass. Some opponents AI might be more susceptible to acting dumb. I mentioned TCPIP before, but maybe that's not it. It could me the color of the mouse pad for all I know, but some is causing the Tac AI not to react while my opponents Tac AI deals swiftly with my units. Yes I too have written many 1000s of lines of Code, so I know that misused syntax like a ";" vs ":" can topple any good program. Is easy to keep rationalizing why these problems are with the player and not the AI. Perhaps I am just a whiny crappy player, or perhaps there is a problem with the AI.
  2. I may be wrong about what is causing the unit not to react but dam it man my bitches are the same!!!!!!!! Reread what I was bitching about! This is what I said "It seems to manifest its self though out the game but in armor its pathetic. Ok here it is. My units just don't want to react to the world around them." So I don't give a Dam why,if it not a TCIP thing just fix it!
  3. I just read a post from Kitty, she was complaining about her units not reacting. That her Sherman just sat as the enemy moved into and out of her LOS with the, as she put it the red line thingy on it. 12 second total, dam near ΒΌ turn, without do a dam thing. Well this is happening to me big time. Something is very wrong with the 1.1 patch. The good news is that I am not alone.
  4. Everyone of these f**king ***holes that pasted above this are typical to the narrow mindedness of the people I find playing this game. I posted something very similar to what you are saying. I got reply after reply telling me how wrong I am for think that something could possible be wrong with the game after the 1.1 patch. This is what I posed. Ok I am asking all that read this to keep an open mind. I feel that the 1.1 patch is doing something very wrong in the TCIP games only. In hot seat seems fine to me, but in online games, I am seeing oddities. So here is the trouble that only I seem to be having. It seems to manifest its self though out the game but in armor its pathetic. Ok here it is. My units just don't want to react to the world around them. What I FEAR is going on, is that 1.1 changed the way the turn is executed. I remember BTS telling us how when the TCIP patch comes out, that the turn will be simultaneously crunched on both machines, thus make a quick seamless turn. That worked great for me all the way up until now. Now it appears that a faster connection has a slight advantage over a slower one. BTS is this true, or have I just become a bad player over night? For the people who are going to say, was your crew buttoned, what was the crew quality, was his tanks hull down, for all of those situations let assume that all things are equal or that I had the advantage. I always come out with the short end of the deal. My connection is 33.3K; sorry it's my phone line. Bellsouth sucks. No DLS in the near future. So BTS please take another look at how you are implementing TCIP, this is the best game I have ever played! Now if what I said is not the case so be it but God Dam it something is wrong.

  6. Hay all. I was wondering if someone could tell me the best way to find other players either by e-mail or TCIP. Thanks.
  7. Thanks JoePrivate, I didn't notice the lack of specialty rounds before
  8. Hay Cueball, why is the M10 96 points in July and 102 in Oct.Others to Change in cost
  9. The last time I spoke up I kind of stuck my foot in my mouth. No, no that's OK, I do that sort of thing all the time. Lets try this again. I personally feel the current BPV of the M36 Jackson (117) is rather Low. According to the book, Sherman by R P Hunnicutt, the M36 first entered the War in August 44. Further more according to ASL, (witch I Know is only game), it's rarity factor in Aug. 44, was 1.6, dropping to 1.1 in Dec. 44, this would put the M36 BPV at about 250 in Aug. and 175 in Dec. I used the Panther G (late) as a yard stick. ASL Bpv BPV of 83 for the M36 83 X 1.6 = 132 Aug 44 83 X 1.1 = 91 Dec 44 BPV of 89 for the Panther G 89 X 1.1 = 98 in 44 using the % difference from 191 Panther in CM Jackson costs 250 in Aug44 and 175 in Dec 44 I would greatly appreciate any comment that would help me justify paying low BPVs for the M36 as well as the Jumbo 76. Thanks ------------------
  10. I am surprised no has spoken up about the excessive toughness of the jumbo. Further more quite the reverse for the Panther, Hezter, and the Jagdepanzer IV, Who's armor seems to be there in names sake only. Jumbo: Historical stats as I know them are: 7" gun shield (152mm) CM has it at 178mm 6" side and rear turret (132mm) Cm has it at 152mm 5.5" lower front hull (121mm) CM has it at 131mm 4" upper hull (88mm) CM has it at 102mm CM appears to be toughening up this Tank. Could someone help me understand, why there is a difference? In regard to the Panther and others, I have been following the discussion about the bad mix of steel alloy do to shortages. Now this may well be true, according to a British study done in 44, but if you were to take into account ALL the studies done on the armored protection of the Panther, by other British, American, and the Germans, the big picture becomes clear. The picture seems to be, that the Panther was one hell of a tank to knock out, from the front. Now using this 85% armor modifier creates whole new scene. The Cat becomes more of a pussy, then a beast. It seems to me that the one study done by the Brits in 44 may have been narrow in scope, for with it the Panther behaves uncharacteristic. Dismiss it, as flawed and the pieces fall back into place. ------------------
