    I am sick of it, because i went through all this with CM01, with me doing some of the asking. We need to write in big letters in teh user agreement 'DO NOT ASK WHEN WE ARE RELEASING A CM GAME BECAUSE IT TAKES FREAKIN AGES.

    In the Arnhem operation i had two platoons assembling in the open ready to assault the bridge. So over comes an ememy Puma armored car, it dodges my PIATs, and reaches the point where my platoons are, and ****s itself. Three squads throw gammon bombs, to my utter horror, when they explode, i have two dead platoons on my hands.

    Why didnt they drop bombs on the stupid bug planets on starship trooper. Every squad/platoon/centurion (lol) had a mini nuke launcher, but the Fleet has no bombs at all. Also how come in that movie they could travel accross the galaxy, but they dont have any type of 'vehicle' (except inter galactic starships) I thought they were the 'Mobile Infantry' IMHO if the troops are expected to walk around an entire planet they aint very mobile. Maybe Napolean was in command of them.

    This is the wrong place to be posting this dude, plus there is spoilers in this post, which pisses alot of people off. But anyways this is my favourite campaign... Hauptmann Paul Grabner commanded the 9th Panzer Reconnaissance Battalion's assault accross the bridge. His unit comprised of 22 vehicles, mainly halftracks and other such recon vehicles, and a thimble full of Assault Guns. If Frost was up against lots of tanks he would not have held out as long as he did. But some things I think are missing are the Brits' 6pdr Anti Tank Guns, and Kraut Flak Vehicles.

    Oh, adn if you like WW2 board games as i do try axia and allies it's the best, and also, i dont get all this cc1, toaw, and all that ? I must go now my pinky is going to fall off.

    Manta Ray, I did exactly the same thing when i was in the army, Panger General is the greates turn based war game ive ever played, look out for Panger General 3 , it's going to be third dimensional, im definately going to purchase it to dampen my cravings for the full version of cm. P.S. Ive figured out the caps thing, but i think my pinky on my left hand id going to wear down to the bone.
