  1. Just doing some house cleaning of some old drives. I have a bunch of Maps for CM. They have the extension of *****.cmb I take these are from CMBO correct? I don't have the copy on my HD anymore. Just curious if I should delete them. There is no way to import old maps into CMAK or CMBB is there. Thanks
  2. G-19 S-15 U-13 P-10 (pathfinding and LOS not very good sorry ) O-13 70/100 Multiplayer - no variable time speed and no pause. Looking forward to the first patch.
  3. Finally got it !! Took 4 times. Tried no D/L Manager....Then DAP x2 times. Gave up on that and Finally "Get Right" did it for me
  4. Ok shut off my privacy controls completely......using DAP followed the instructions just can't get passed this supposed firewall restrictions? Am I missing something here?
  5. We I have D/L'ed it 3 times for 7 hours. I have turned off nortons, anit virus and Privacey controls no luck? Keeps saying my security/firewall is preventing me from D/L'ing it? Arrggh why is this so difficult. This morning I did TOAW III.........20 min D/L. hmmmm ISn't it up and running especially in North America?
  6. Well I only have Nortons Firewall 2006. The help lisitng for Nortons firewall is not accurate for the 2006 version,so I have it shut off completely. Norton Anti virus also completely off. No XP Firewall for years Still get the web page that my firewall settings are interfering? Any ideas guys? I D/L Silent hunter IV yesterday 3.8 Gig no problems same system?
  7. Boy D/L'ed Silent Hunter IV 3.81 gib no probs. Have tried 3 times TOW keep getting corrupted data?? hmmm
  8. I wonder is there no ambush button? Can you set ranges to engage with infantry? Or is the AI intelligent enough to know when to fire and when not?
  9. Any luck with the servers last night? Just curious is the 19th realistic or will you guys need the weekend to get everything behind the scenes workout. Trying to make my weekend plans The demo is awesome. 9.5 out of 10. The only thing I wish we could have had was variable speed. Hats off you to guys the magic of BF shines again!! Hey after this project is Steve picking up a new toy for his fighting vehicle collection? I think he deserves it!!

  16. Thanks your a gent. However I did click on the green box and downloaded a file but it comes up on my desktop as a unrecognizable file. I take it I must find the parent program for fire fox and this is an add-on. Thanks again for your help..........
  17. oh.......Thanks Elvis That is disappointing though. Especially for larger scenarios. Not all play at the same ability or speed. I'm gald you don't find it a click fest however I wonder if all skill levels with the interface or mouse skills are exactly the same...... I doubt that introducing variable speed will make it to an addon. I would image that would take some significant programming? Oh well.....have my fingers crossed. I'm sure the magic of BFC will shine through.

  20. Just want to clarify about time compression or lack of? There is only one speed? And a Pause? Same for Multiplayer Games?
  21. Came across this in another thread........ "Guys, there is no hard limit that I have seen. Somehow my comment about ONE battle that I played having ABOUT 150 units in it seemed to have been misinterpreted to mean that there is a 150 unit/man cap. There isn't. Of the fourty plus battles in the game, some are small and some are big. The average size seems to be equivalent to about a companies worth of guys (roughly 150 men a side) but thats not a set limit. Its just how the scenario designers made the battles that are in the game so far. Madmatt" Interesting. So it appears one can have larger battles if one want to. Great for MP games. I wonder what the performance hit is though.
