One of you good modders...i.e. Andrew Fox/Maximus etc. I am requesting a S.S. uniform mod, I dont think anyone has done one yet: I was reading one of my Osprey uniform books, and saw a S.S. summer uniform, (I have never seen it before, apparently rare but it was cool) It is called the PEA PATTERN, if someone owns this book please do a mod using it, it is a really cool design! It is called the Fallshirmjagergewehr 42, the first time it was ever used (operationaly) was by Otto Skorzeny when his commando unit rescued Benito Mussolini in 1943. What is the point of leaving Tiger? Yes you posted a thread that had been answerd and I was one of the few that stood on your side, but I have to say this, if you leave and take your mods with you, I can garantee this: NOT one person in this board will respect you, you get shot at a few times, and you surrender, and take your country with you, if you thought you were badily insulted in the "Body BMP" Thread, you should just wait for the response that will come when you leave, the only thing that you will leave behind if you take your mods with you, will be resentment, and everyone will think you can not stand up for your self and fight back all you can do is pack up and leave, it will only provoke more people into arguing and browbeating, because you have to blame everyone but yourself. Yes many of the responses were utter dribble. And some were rational, but you have to expect that, that is life, it will always be life, and one has to put up with it. Ok I have had the same mods for about two monthes now(terrain) and have owned the CM:BO since November, I have never had this problem. Ok, I save my BMP and Saved games folders because I had to uninstall the Game, so I uninstalled it, then reinstalled it, put back the old files of mine, and play CM, the game is fine, play is fine etc. but when I zoom out FULL to the point were its entirly overhead, then I press ] or [ to zoom, once I zoom the Tree Bases disapear, it has neaver happend before, what do I do? Doesnt affect gameplay and tree bases show up when I zoom from any other position, it isnt a big deal, its just wierd. -Field

The problem with a modern CM is that every thing is done at such long ranges now a days, you would never have the kind of close quarters fighting you have in CM, it would all be really huge, and in vast numbers, I doubt a modern engine could handle modern combat. -Field

Its ok, sound mods are probably the hardest to make. But the GO GO GO on the A file still isnt very realistic, you should make it more of GO! GO! GO! not go, go, go,

The search wont work , so I need your help. I have Tanks Alot's high res, water mod from Last Defense, but It doesnt go with Toms Subdued grass, I need a good water mod thats dark, and MAtches when you have more than one hex of water(i.e. with some water mods, if you have a river three hexes wide, it will look like a stupid grid on the map board. I want a good looking mod, like the water in the pic of Ambush of Shadows at Der Kessel...thanks. -Fieldmarshall

I just bought "Death Traps" a couple weeks ago (cool book) and was reading about the Paderborn patrol with the many King Tiger tanks, and how they made the crew abandone the tank by firing White Phospherus Shells(incinderies (DUH)) Why dont the Allies get incindery weapons like phospherus shells to smoke out the enemy, or Molotov cocktails for the Volkssturm...I can name a million uses for white phospherus...Lighting victory cigars, igniting treelines, buildings and ammo stores in tanks....does BTS have an answer? -Fieldmarshall [ 07-24-2001: Message edited by: Fieldmarshall ]

Boy you can really feel the EMOTION in those guys voices! :eek: (Being Sarcastic) They would be much MUCH better if they didnt do that fade out thing, or the enthusiastic go go go Also the quality would be improved if you didnt do the "hold nose" to change the voices, and didnt breath into the mike before or after you speak...I used your mod for a few minutes and that breath at the end made me collapse to the floor laughing..dont meen to be mean, but you should make the go go go a little more emotional (go go go on the A file) and dont breath into the mike after or before you speak...
