Re AT guns i guess it all depends on how easily vehicles bog, but I guess worse case you end up stuck where as AT gun is unlikely to be able to redeploy,..
Looking Forward to seeing how snow effects mobility.

I am hoping BFS will know root cause and undertake an impact analysis on affected campaigns, that or we have to flag suspected broken ones. I have flagged another campaign broken but no report on it being fixed? As I am travelling I am hoping it will be fixed soon.

BFS should know what root cause was, nothing been noted so who knows if it affected stand alone scenarios?

No, I am away from PC at moment doing some travelling and using a nexus to post. I only bumped this thread to try and prove my point that it was not just one campaign afflicted by the bug. I had assumed that the BFS squad would work out root cause and then do impact assessment on all campaigns? That could of course be what they are doing?
When I get back, and if nothing has been updated I will pursue further....
But as I am not playing at moment I am not too bothered, and even when I do get back plenty of other scenarios to keep me occupied....

I have bumped my thread re campaign issues, I would hazzard a guess that whatever was underlying issue needs to be back tracked to other campaigns, missing 6pdrs in Scottish corridor were also noted in some other threads?

??? I found the 3.x upgrade did nothing but improve the game - both in terms of performance and render quality. It certainly did not introduce problems or instability. The only issue I can think of was one campaign ended up messed up - which was just fixed. Can you tell us what made things worse in the upgrade?

I think more than one campaign, but I agree with your general sentiment. I am still travelling so until I get back I will not be able to dig out specifics re the campaigns. I am hoping they know root cause and then from that they will fix all campaigns.

You would be very welcome, we are not too far from Oxford and always good to talk about CM. Well I think so even if my better half thinks I am a bit boring...
(OT Just working out sites to visit, I think I will start with ironworks as that seems easy walk. So many great places to see in a short time...)

Thanks for the reports Doug, and yes some luck but also you made the right calls with positions of the Panthers, you recognised the threat and moved in time to counter what Bil was attempting.
The M10 duel was a 50/50 die roll I guess?
You are right it was all about the tanks and without that edge your infantry would have had a tough time, saw one of your HMG teams on your right got mortared to death, Bil certainly had the edge with those.
BTW, I just got back from meeting Bil FtF and brought him a consolation drink as I happen to be in Richmond this weekend and he kindly agreed to meet me. We had a good chat about the game and it was really nice to thank him in person for all the previous AARs he has done for this great community of players.

Well played. I think it was a tough map and with the well placed Panther's Bil had a couple of chances but they did not pay off for him.
The duel with the M10 and Panther if it had gone the other way would have changed the game. (Statement of the obvious).
You roll the dice and sometimes lady luck does not shine on you.

c'mon man show some of the other campaign designers some love.
One of my favorites was actually Chris's TF Panther.
You see that is the trouble you mention one, then the others need some love too...

This is an impressive list of projects, and all sounds very promising. I'll keep my credit card at the ready.
Love the idea of Battle Packs. As someone who loves SP Campaigns above all, I trust there will be some solid offerings in that dept.
