nik mond
I'm referring to the low res green area outside of the map that meets the horizon. Is this BMP accessable? Its likely a very small bitmap that stretches to the horizon boards. Can't seem to find that one.
Broadsword56
It would be cool if that could be modded so it looks like outer (but nonplayable) terrain. Then we could insert, say, an 8 x 8km image of the far terrain area that borders the actual playing area of the map (the way mapping worked in Theatre of War 2: Africa 1943)
MikeyD
Yes, its accesible. its named "distant ground.bmp" But its not low-rez art. Its a hi-rez tile repeated infinitely. If you peer directly over the edge you'll see grass beneath you. Yeh, its given me fits in the past, too. Its almost impossible to get something acceptible looking out of it.

Colour it yellow brown for sicily or the desert, or whitish for a winter mod. Since it repeats, you could not make the east ocean for a beach example, or put distant forests or towns for depth. Good to know it can be changed to suit different location backgrounds tho.
