Buzz
Thanks for the Gridded Terrain Mod. I get corrupted file message when expanding RezPack.part2.rar. Tried 2 downloads and same error message. Thanks, Buzz
Bil Hardenberger
Buzz, you need to have both parts in the same folder, then expand part 1; part 2 should expand automatically. Hope that helps.
Buzz
Thanks Bil That helped & worked. Put both parts in the same folder, then expand part 1; part 2 yields "Bils_Gridded_Terain.brz" and "Alternate Terain_for_Grid.brz" It was my operator error / ignorance. Bil Hardenberger
No problem.. I guess I could have explained it better.
Buzz
I just tested both "Bils_Gridded_Terain.brz" and "Alternate Terain_for_Grid.brz" in Boot Camp on my Mac and they look great! Clear grids up close but not a thick checkerboard effect from an overview. Looks best in close up views IMO. Is there a standard grid distance in meters / yards? Thanks again, Buzz
Bil Hardenberger
Is there a standard grid distance in meters / yards? Thanks again, Buzz Glad you are liking them Buzz.. I threw these together pretty quickly and didn't really plan on making each a specific size, like I did for my CMBN grids. I simply split the texture map into six equal squares. I was more intrested in "seeing" the terrain better, not using them for ranging. Bil
Buzz
Seeing the terrain better works for me. Thanks, Buzz
