GreenAsJade
If you look at this movie, pause at this time and this time you can see me pointing to the Axis and Allied victory location details. I can't understand what this information is trying to say: can someone interpret? Thanks! GaJ
womble
If you look at this movie, pause at this time There are 8 VLs in 2 columns (which may or may not be different for each side) 1 - 2 3 - 4 5 - 6 7 - 8 The germans have secured 1, 4 and 8 of theirs. The US have secured 2, 6 and 7 of the ones they were supposed to get.
GreenAsJade
Hah, easy when you look at it the right way, thanks! (I was seeing the VLs under the Axis as the Axis ones, and the VLs under the Allies as the Allied ones, doh!) GaJ

That's what I thought at first glance, too.
A Canadian Cat
There are 8 VLs in 2 columns (which may or may not be different for each side) <snip> Am I correct in my interpretation of this that the VLs are not necessarily the same between the two sides? I realize that many scenarios there are a few VLs and both sides are trying to capture them. But is it possible for one side to have eight VLs to capture and the other side only two? In this case each side has the same number of VLs to capture and that is just because the scenario is designed that way not because it is required that both sides have the same VLs.

AIUI, it's not necessary for either side to have any VLs at all, but either can, so yes, it's possible for one to have x VLs and the other to have y, some or none of which could be co-located or overlapping.
GreenAsJade
And/or the points that each side gets for each VL doesn't have to be the same.
