benpark
I am trying to convert the sound files with the Mac friendly MCM3 v 1.5. so I can finally run the frontovik mod without hearing "okay sargeant" from my NKVD men. The sound files from my "frontovik" folder are not showing up when I try to select it as a source file to overwrite the original data files. Anyone know a fix? Any other methods to changing the sound files on a Mac? Any help is much appreciated.
Hoopenfaust2
Easy. The sound mods you probably downloaded are .wav files. MCM3 can only convert system 7 sounds. Look in your applications folder, and you should find soundapp. This program can convert those wav files to system 7. Make sure you convert them to the appropriate specs in which Combat Mission uses. Mono, 44Hz etc....
mchlstrt
I've found all the sound Mods to have an overly distorted edge to them. Is this an aesthetic choice that my delicate ears don't take to, or am I missing another obvious technical problem?
