Hamilcar1967
Since battlefront is a indie publisher why not finish game then announce release date. We might have to weight a little longer but this would seem to kill a lot of the unhappiness of some people with the missing of the end of April release date. For instance game goes gold next friday, then battlefront announces game will be released a month from that date. Everything is set seems like this would put alot less preqassure on them.

I think that is exactly what they are doing (they never gave a fixed date, they gave an approx as we all demanded an update on a release date) and look how much space we have given them. :-P Would help if they would just make a sucky product, then we wouldn't be bothered caring- see BFC it's all your fault.
gunnergoz
This crowd loves to revel in its misery...BFC is just giving them what they wanted. If they surprised us and popped a new, ready to go game on the market before we knew about it, we'd probably faint dead away and then complain that we were deprived of the beta-period-blues.
Vinnart
It's close guys, just hang in there. Birds on the way! Honesly, I think Michealangelo said it best when the pope kept busting his balls while he was painting the sisteen chapel. Every time the pope asked when it would be finished, he answered "When it's done". I would rather wait for any ironing out that needs to be done to get the most polished product.
chrisl
They've been doing this for a while, and will let it go when it's ready. But they way they're releasing it now gets it to us fastest-- instead of being done and sitting in the can, once they decide it's done we'll have it pretty much right away. You should have been here for CMBO... I found the demo after it had been out for a while, but there wasn't even a real release window. The demo was good enough that if all the full version added was a scenario editor, then that was well worth the pre-order. The full version was much better!
Destraex1
I think a lead up is good still.
