jpinard
Can anyone help me here?
JMcGuire
Basically try older drivers. WAY older, in most cases. Also be sure you're running the latest DirectX. If you want more detailed assistance, for starters tell us which OS you're running. The Win98 problems seem to be slightly different than the Win2K problems. Also you might try searching. A search against the tech support forum runs quickly.
Schrullenhaft
With the 12.x drivers I've had to disable FSAA in order for text to come through clear. Otherwise every bit of text eventually gets messed up. This still won't fix the "transparent" text under Win2K, but it should help a bit.

André
Hi I have had this problem myself from time to time. It got so anoying that I just decided to disable FSAA. I just installed the latest official drivers from NVIDIA and tried to play with FSAA again. Guess what, now it works again. Heinz

JMcGuire
quote:
Originally posted by Xavier: What is FSAA and where can I disable it???

FSAA is Full Screen Anti-Alias. It makes jagged lines look smooth by supersampling each pixel (sort of blurring the edges). (Similar to the way my vision blurs when I think about how my copy of CM doesn't work with my awesome nVidia card.)
