  1. I have istalled the gamersgate patch but the game still says 1.01???
  2. I just love the Stryker mounted 40mm grenade launcher. Its probably the best anti-infantry killer in the game! It brings a lot of punch and plenty of ammo too. And that sound... Duck down Syrians and say your prayers!
  3. Wow, this is my first post in these forums for many years! Been playing CF for one day now, and I remembered the good old CMBO days. The new game is of course very different, but it does have the magic CM formula in it. I just finshed the first campaign battle, after 3 tries. Last time around it was a total victory. Think I smoked 20+ enemy tanks without loosing a single vehicle myself. It was very fun! Now its battle 2 and I get my ass handed to me again. A couple of more tries.... Got to get back to the game!
  4. SPOILER IMAGE BELOW... This little AT gun lasted throughout the battle, taking out multiple Allied tanks without taking any losses. André
  5. http://www.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/combatmissionbtb/news_6076578.html Classic!
  6. Tjena søta bror Jeg kan jo også ta turen fra Oslo, men det er jo litt langt å reise. Jeg hadde jo sparket deres svenske røv til helvete uansett, så det er nok like greit at jeg blir hjemme. André
  7. Throw us some freaking CMX2 bones right now!!! Bones, we need more bones!!! Great work BFC, looking forward to what the future brings. Cheers, André Long time CM addict
  8. OK, now I get it. DUST = SMOKE And smoke works fine on Radeon... Thats what I wanted to hear. Many thanks, André
  9. This is not good news, but I am still going Radeon in two weeks time. CMBB/AK cannot look any worse with a Radeon 9600 PRO than it does now with my current setup, a Geforce 2. Radeon here we come!! André
  10. Hi Jeff! I guess we will wait and see... PS: Watch out for 256mb Radeon 9600 cards, they are ususally fitted with slower memory than their 128mb counterparts. Make sure to check the memory speed. A 128mb card with fast memory is usually faster than a 256mb with slower memory. I am probably going for the RADEON 9600 PRO 128mb "Fireblade E". It has faster than normal memory. (350mhz I think) André
  11. Hi I am about to update my computer rig and I am thinking about purchasing an ATI RADEON 9600 PRO. I know there are some issues with the CMBB engine and Radeon cards. Does this mean that the game is unplayable? It most certainly will do better than my good old Geforce 2, right? The reason for going Radeon is of course the large performance gap between it and Geforce FX in Halflife 2. Let me know the current situation please. Regards, André
  12. Sir, please send both your new and probably brilliant scenarios my way on the double!
  13. Hi Tom! I was thinking about such a mod earlier in the week, and thought about posting a request for it here. Your Ardennes mod was brilliant and made snow warfare much better looking. I am sure you will do the same with CMBB as well... Thanks in advance!
  14. Enemy at the gates Duderhof Hills outside Leningrad September 12th, 1941 Duderhof Hills, 25km S of Leningrad: An area that had proven to be an ideal observation point of the southern approaches to Leningrad, were the well defended Duderhof Hills. From this area, Soviet artillery fire could be called in with accuracy upon the advancing Germans. On September 12th an assault by the German 1st Panzer Division to clear the hills was began. One of the most important objectives was Hill 167. Protected by elements of the Russian 70th Rifle Division, which would become the elite 45th Guards Rifle Division, and a militia battalion with a thick wall of gun emplacements, pillboxes, trenches and interlocking machine gun fire. Soviet guards units are used to represent the quality of the Russian troops. NOTE: This CMBB scenario is based on the East Front scenario "Enemy at the Gates" made by D. Bevard. Scenario design by André Hesselroth aka Heinz 25th PzReg Best played as Axis vs AI Here is the link: http://home.online.no/~andhess/cmbb/DuderhofHills.cme [ December 26, 2002, 04:32 PM: Message edited by: Heinz 25th PzReg ]
  15. Been using them for some time now, really outstanding work!
  16. Oh Parabellum, too bad you didnt have that much luck with your 105's in our battle... And btw, where is the file?
  17. Finest piece of CM operation I have ever played pbem... Excellent! Btw, I played the Germans and won a TOTAL VICTORY. Thanks
  18. That sounds wierd... I have rarely seen movie files over 2 mb, and that was some huge battles.
  19. Another truly stunning mod from you Martin, keep em coming! Looking forward to getting the CMMMOS versions though...
  20. I played the Allied commander in the first rumble(I think), the Ambleve river valley battle... Was very fun indeed, I am interested in playing again in the first CMBB rumble!
  21. Same here, only noticed a small change after installing the mod...
  22. I would like a patch that will release the actual patch.
  23. Poor guys, it is not easy to wait that long... @ Echo: My panzers are standing ready at the border and are ready for the invasion. Please get your CMBB asap! Heinz
  24. Sorry, "move to contact" is the command I was refering to, not "move to engage". So a unit using the "move to contact" command will stop whenever seeing an enemy unit, even if he is using the covered arc command?
