beatmasta
Hi, I just bought and installed CM:A but having some problems with it... The game just does dot start to load but crashes immediately when click the icon on my desktop... I downloaded the demo and it works fine. I also registered my license so it should not be problem either.... Has anyboy any ideas what might cause this? Have to say that the CM:A experience did not start to well...
Moon
Since you say that you licensed the game correctly, we can rule out a whole batch of usual problems with Windows etc. That's useful. I think the best way to get support would be to submit a support ticket at www.battlefront.com/helpdesk with your PC specs etc.
beatmasta
I think the problem is solved. I turned off my virus scanner (F-secure) and internet connection and after that the CM:A loaded correctly to the opening screen. Didn't try further than that yet, but seems that for some reason my virus scanner blocked the program without giving any notes of that...
Schrullenhaft
With F-Secure I believe if you turn off "Deep Guard", then eLicense will work. Otherwise you just disable it completely (like you did) to allow eLicense to run properly.
beatmasta
Yep that did the trick! Deep guard was the reason. When I disabled it the CM:A started without problems! Thanks for the tip!
