The only friendly country on the planet that is honest enough to realize that the Third World War will eventually happen is the USA! Incidentally my view is that the American insurrection was a bad thing because it destroyed what would have been an unassailable power in the world. What chance Hitler of Japan thinking of going to war against the British Commonwealth that included most of the world. I doubt that WW1 would have been contemplated as it was a foregone loss for the Central Powers. Stalins Organ Posted June 3, 2010 Share Posted June 3, 2010 Long term peace happened after 1945 - expecially in or at or to Vietnam, Panama, Haiti, Iraq (3 times), World Trade Centre, Oklahoma, Afghanistan (twice), Georgia, Chechenya, Iran, Jamu0-Kashmir, India (two or 3 times - I forget), Pakistan, Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Angola, Rhodesia, Tibet, Nicaragua, Argentinia, Peru, Lebanon, Palestine, Anwar Sadat....and various others I don't recall. I wasn't actually picking on America at all - just the perception that there has been universal peace!
