Orky
Yes, of course, this was a first reflex - to reinstall DX, drivers and install latest patch
Armuss
Best solution: send Your error.sav (in Error folder in game) to Huber Cater
Schrullenhaft
The above advice to send the 'error.sav' file to Hubert Cater (at either the Helpdesk or Hubert's direct support email support@furysoftware.com), may be the first thing you will want to do. Do you know what sound card/chip you have in your system and what driver version you have installed ? One other thing to try is to turn down the 'Hardware Acceleration' for the audio. This is done by going to Start Menu > Control Panel > 'Sounds and Audio Devices' control panel > 'Volume' tab (default) > 'Speaker settings' section (at bottom) > 'Advanced...' button > 'Performance' tab > 'Hardware Acceleration' slider. Adjust this to the left a click or more and attempt to run the game to see if it continues to have problems or not. This slider makes the CPU take over more of the audio decoding away from the audio hardware.
Hubert Cater
This is likely a sound card driver error. I would suggest updating all your drivers for your video and sound cards, installing the latest version of DirectX on your system and then applying the latest applicable game patch. The combination of these steps should resolve the issue for you. Hubert
Orky
Hello, updating my drivers leads nowhere - error still presents. I've sent error log to the helpdesk.
