Paulverisor64
In the pre-order deal you get the internet game download and a CD through the mail. Am I assuming that these are 2 independent games? If I have 2 computers I could have one play the downloaded version and another play from the CD?
Schrullenhaft
With the pre-order you're getting the download with a license key and a physical shipment of the game that does NOT have an additional license key. The key you get with the download can be used with the physical copy. eLicense allows you to run the game concurrent on two different computers/installations. You could potentially have more installations, but only two of them will be licensed at the same time. The disc-based installer and the download will install the same files, no differences. The license key will not know you've installed the game with either the download or the disc (and it won't care).
Paulverisor64
Thank you. I've wondered how this works exactly and now I know. It sounds as if the CD with internet download is just a good way to ensure the game can be retrieved in the event of a disaster happening to either one. Moon
That, plus you get the printed manual and a nice box to put on the shelf.
