bupgoo Posted February 6, 2010 Share Posted February 6, 2010 Hello, The demo installed fine ... but when I choose a battle, and after the loading screen is finished, the game drops to the desktop immediately. I've had no problem running TOW 1. I have Vista x32, GF8800GT, Dual core. I would appreciate any help because I'm interested in purchasing this. Schrullenhaft Posted February 10, 2010 Share Posted February 10, 2010 When you launch the demo, can you right-click on it and select "Run as administrator" from the popup menu. You may also want to run the DirectX 9.0c updater. You may already be up-to-date, but it is worth a check. Which Nvidia driver version are you using ? I'm not specifically aware of any bad drivers with TOW, but a beta driver might be a bit problematic at this point. As Sneaksie pointed out, the game seems to be shutting down normally per the 'log.lst' file. What anti-virus/internet-security application are you running ? Can you add the TOW Kursk game to any exceptions for it (not that it should be interpreted as any sort of trojan, but just in case). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
