Demo CTD

Hello,

The demo installed fine ... but when I choose a battle, and after the loading screen is finished, the game drops to the desktop immediately. I've had no problem running TOW 1. I have Vista x32, GF8800GT, Dual core.

I would appreciate any help because I'm interested in purchasing this.

When you launch the demo, can you right-click on it and select "Run as administrator" from the popup menu.

You may also want to run the DirectX 9.0c updater. You may already be up-to-date, but it is worth a check.

Which Nvidia driver version are you using ? I'm not specifically aware of any bad drivers with TOW, but a beta driver might be a bit problematic at this point.

As Sneaksie pointed out, the game seems to be shutting down normally per the 'log.lst' file. What anti-virus/internet-security application are you running ? Can you add the TOW Kursk game to any exceptions for it (not that it should be interpreted as any sort of trojan, but just in case).
