New Computer with Vista

I am getting a new computer with Vista but I have all the old games like cmbb, cmbo, and cmak. I was wondering if I can just install them and play. I know windows xp had the ability to play games in different version of windows.

Battlefront put out a 1.04 patch for CMAK and CMBB conveting them from XP to Vista and they cost $5 each.

I got a backward version of Vista and made my new computer XP. Until windows 7 why wrestle with an operating system that has not really ever taken off. *

My machine is an Acer : ) purchased mid 2009.

SO it looks like Windows 7, being introduced now, will eclipse Vista and make inroads into XP.

A lot of people could play well enough by setting AA to 2x and "override application setting".

The rest seemed to have success with the 1.04 patches for AK and BB.
