cabal23
I notice several variants of the British jeeps. Is there a reason the British have so many variants of light vehicles that seem to all serve a similar purpose? In the grand scheme of the game will we see much of a difference in how they play?

We lack the large number of striker varients.
flamingknives
From left to right: Weapons Mount Installation Kit (WMIK) - heavy weapons carrier Snatch Land Rover - Light armoured vehicle, proof against small arms fire and small IEDs Land Rover soft-top - General service load carrier Land Rover Fitted For Radio (FFR) - Command vehicle. Jackal is a more mobile and better protected vehicle than the WMIK, used more for long range recce.

Chainsaw
They are not in, as neither is the US equalent vehicles as CMSF focus on the invading part, not the peace keeping after action part where amstaff would be used. BFC have stated that to many times unfortunly. Personly i rather have them working on more invasion stuff (conventional warfare) then unconventional warfare where the mastiff would be used. /Thomas

Dowding2
Mastiffs are used in Afghanistan for fire support, in the same way the weapons carrier Landy was used. It's a shame they aren't modelled for such scenarios, but I guess you can't have everything!
