Nupremal
What does being the "owner" of a strength event do? Does anyone get affected by the strength or just the opposing (or same) side as the owner?
J P Wagner
If you set the aligned country id to 0 in each map position entry, then any unit within the range of that map position will suffer the effects of a strength event...I used this script to simulate desertions in my RCW mod....

J P Wagner
I'm not sure I understand your observation Al, as the zero I am referring to is not in reference to strength points....
Big Al
I was just letting you both know that you never can reduce a unit below 1 with that txt file. I tried.
Nupremal
Oh another question is - if an event fires off and has "overlap" does it do double damage? i.e. I set the event for 2 range from 2 different cities, and there is an overlap area.
Hubert Cater
'Owner' for a strength event simply tells the game engine which 'Flag' to show when disaplaying the strength event POPUP string and really nothing more than that. The affected units depend upon the values set in the #MAP_POSITION entries. For the overlap question, units can only be affected once per event as this was an issue during original testing that we corrected.
