ot computer rebuild thinking installing linux/ubunta will cmak etc work with this

thinking of installing linux/ubunta (what the difference) on a rebuilt machine . i dont have xp or vista only windows me

does anyone use it here if so you might have answer to the following questions

1 easy to install / minimum memory spec

2 printers / joysticks etc any problems

3 easy to use

4 compatible with windows games for xp and vista . notably cmak /bb and cmsf and some of the other battlefront games etc

CMBO, CMBB and CMAK work on Linux if you buy the Cedega version of the Windows ABI emulator Wine ($5/month).

I had to use the non-cd patch for one of the them, but I don't think that's the case anymore.

Disclaimer: I use an old version of Cedega, hope they didn't fatfingered anything.

Otherwise, forget it. You want Windoze games, you want Windoze.
