volfrahm
I figure I'll try something new and make yellow squash/zucchini noodles for my pasta. I also figure that it would make good vegetables for sushi rolls. Anyone have experience with these spiral slicers? Recommendations?
costard
Awesome - I suggest you eat them all and save none for the rest of us.

mike_the_wino
yes. I believe zucchini, and it's evil squash kin, were created by the Nazi's as a WVD (weapon of vegetable destruction). Let us never speak of this again.
Michael Emrys
Squash is definitely evil. It wasn't the Nazis who invented it however. It is actually an alien life form and part of a plot to take over the Earth by denizens of another planet who need to colonize the Earth due to pollution problems back home. The Nazis were merely tools in their machinations. Michael
Dave H
Calling plagues on humanity like squash and zucchini "evil" reduces them to the same level as piddling annoyances like Satan and North Korea and the Nazi leadership. These two families of veggie parasites should be exterminated whenever they are encountered. Uproot and burn the plants and pour salt on the ground to ensure they don't return. Neither of these garbage plants have any redeeming qualities at all. Not in appearance, not in texture, not in taste. To add insult to injury zucchini appears to be possibly the most prolific plant in the vegetable world.:eek:

Assuming that they were deranged enough to want to actually eat the damned things, one single zucchini plant will feed at least half a dozen families. Too bad they aren't instantly fatal. That might awaken a sleeping humanity to the insidious danger that has infiltrated their back yards and fields. Michael
