SgtMuhammed
The official designation is requisition. This can be formally done by filling out required paperwork or infomally done by just grabbing equipment that obviously isn't doing the other unit any good at the moment but that you know you could use. Requisitioning, an important part of your military supply chain.
Nikolossus
Also from Generation Kill: "If Marines could get what they need when they needed it, we would be happy and we wouldn't be ready to kill people all the time."

purpheart23
It's only requisition if I do it. Just wondering why the marines are running around with ACU pattern bags in the backs of their hmmwvs.
M1A1TC
I wish Marines would get their own face set as well. That way they could get green teeshirts.
Bigduke6
Field requisition is not theft. It's simply the relocation of a piece of government property from one place to another. - Anonymous The Marine is the worst thief in all Asia, and his officers encourage him. - John Masters, paraphrased
purpheart23
Field requisition is not theft What if it's done in the motorpool? Where said remover isn't necessarily signed for said piece of equipment?
