Big Al
I see the convoy in the 1939 scenario from Iraq to UK, with no connection going off map. I do the same thing on my game and it doesnt work. Whats the deal? Anyone do a non-connecting convoy?
Nupremal
I can't get it to work either. However, I think one thing is that unless the country is active it can't use the loop. So test it - declare war on iraq see what happens.
Hubert Cater
In this case, the way to do the convoy loop is to have the last tile for one section be the a map edge and the first tile for the next section be another map edge. For example, if the map is 10x20 and I want the convoy loop to go off from the right edge of the map and then start up again from the bottom of the map, then the last tile on the right edge would be tile 10 (on the right edge) and the next tile in proper order would be tile 20 on the bottom edge etc. If you take a look at Fall Weiss and see how the convoys from Egypt or Iraq go to the UK you can follow this logic etc.
Big Al
I did it that was from the far right of the screen to bottom and bottom to bottom. This is Persia to UK convoy. Now I get a convoy line but its in red. The activations are correct. UK = 100 (full allied) Persia = 5 (allied) #COUNTRY_ID_TRIGGER= 1 #TRANSFER_ID_TRIGGER= 1
Nupremal
Ok this answers my question in the other post... Will this same idea work going to the map edge say at the bottom right and come back in the bottom left? Red means it works - Axis convoys are blue, allied red.
Hubert Cater
As far as I remember, it should work for any set of edges.
