Flanker15
Just thought of a question that someone might know about: How detailed is the aircraft damage model ie: subsystems or health? Also when a plane gets destroyed will it crash or fly off the field trailing smoke and if it dose crash dose it leave a burning wrekage or just a mark? Allllsoooo can the crashing plane damage ground units? That's all anyone know?

I *think* I remember reading this question a couple months ago. The response I remember was, the chances of a crashing plane actually HITTING a ground unit are astronomical. So, I don't think planes that are shot down will ever damage ground units. I would stand corrected, though, if a dev/tester can answer with certainty. John Kettler
iplaygames2, Don't you mean the odds against a crashing plane actually hitting a ground unit are astronomical? Regards, John Kettler
iplaygames2
Sure, sure, if you want to be nitpicky. You get my meaning!
Flanker15
I figure the chances of a plane crashing into a unit is pretty small (except if it is hit on the aproach for a strafing run) but I don't even know if the planes crash at all! Anyone whos got the Russian game know?
Daimyo
They crash alright. As I remember they only leave a mark on the ground, but rarely do they crash in the playable area.
