Javaslinger
This sounds a bit like the next gen Combat Mission. All front included.. upgraded system and graphics... Am I totally wrong? Thanks, Ken
Moon
Yes and no. There are many differences between CM and TOW, and, more than anything else, the games compliment each other in what they do well and not so well. But there are of course also similarities and, indeed, a certain "next gen" feeling when you play TOW. At least it was for me when I first played the beta. It's not a simple RTS, and since the next thing to compare it to is CM, I guess that's why it feels like it. But it is NOT Combat Mission. More like a "Close Combat 3D" I guess. killmore
If there is no way to make your own battles or random games then it is quite useless to me...

Moon
killmore, actually there is a way to make your own battles (not random games though). Matt made a variation of one of the existing campaign battles already just for fun. Martin

No need to mention the game since most know exactly what I'm talking about. Although I have helluva lot more confidence in this game, as it's being developed by the IL2 gods 1C and being published by my beloved BFC. So no worries here, that statement just caught my eye.
