Anyone else playing Close Combat again?

You don't even have to use an external slowdown program....just left-click the desktop icon and set compatability level in "properties" to Windows 98...works perfectly for me!

I'm still playing CC5 with mods only. I just completed the Stalingrad mod and I am about 90% of the way through the France '40 mod. I think I'll try the Afrika Korps mod next....This is a lot of fun. Playing against the AI is fairly easy, but there are some challenging moments. It would be much more challenging if the AI were better.

Firefight game is very raw, undetailed, but the bones in version 4 are just best i've ever seen in any wargame(including CM)! AI kicks ass, and the soldiers behaving is so real and no patch finding problems!

I simply adore 'firefight'... just a damned shame that there is no multiplayer.

As for CC? I only play the Great War mod for CC3.

I liked firefight a lot, but it got a little too repetetive for me after a while. I'd love to see it fleshed out a bit.

I reinstalled CCIII last night to get my reflexes used to RTS games again. Needless to say, I'd rather have ToW instead.
