John DiFool the 2nd
I am trying to get a convoy from Libya to Italy to function. I wrote the script but the route doesn't show up in the editor. ;Libyan convoys to Italy; { #NAME= Libyan convoys to Italy #POPUP= #IMAGE= #SOUND= #FLAG= 1 #TYPE= 2 #AI= 0 #COUNTRY_ID= 27 #TRANSFER_ID= 6 #COUNTRY_ID_TRIGGER= 75 #TRANSFER_ID_TRIGGER= 100 #PERCENTAGE= 100 #MAX_PERCENTAGE= 100 #SPRING_REDUCTION= 100 #SUMMER_REDUCTION= 100 #FALL_REDUCTION= 100 #WINTER_REDUCTION= 100 #SOURCE_PORT= 92,37 #DESTINATION_PORT= 90,30 #WAYPOINT= 92,31 } Libya in the editor is listed as "neutral", despite being completely occupied by Italy, and has no capital-in real life she was a colony of Italy, more or less. I am going to play with "annexed" and switching Libya from neutral to Axis, but it takes so @%* long when I make such changes because the game insists on resaving every single script (I am working off vanilla Fall Weiss, keeping most of Hubert's scripts intact-this is for the 1936 scenario).
ChrisND
Have you actually designated the Libyan territory as Libya, and given them a capital? In the vanilla game, Libya is in the country list, but it is not an active country. All of it's territory is Italian territory. So, effectively, there is no Libya country in the 1939 scenario, unless you add it. For a convoy route to be legal, it must be between two different countries. For a country to be in the game, it must have territory and a capital.
John DiFool the 2nd
Yeah I just figgered that out, but thanks ND. Actually with what I plan to do Italy can most certainly use those extra 5 MPPs from Tripoli...
Hubert Cater
Hi John, Once you adjust the campaign it may want to reverify the scripts but once you save it should not go through every script again. On the other hand there are situations where you may change some map data that the scripts depend on for validity and in this case it will have to go through all the applicable scripts just to ensure everything is still Ok. Maybe this is the case? Hubert
John DiFool the 2nd
Yeah, when it does that I just accept it and go and piddle around on the 'net for the several minutes it takes to verify. Better that than hosing my scenario because of a bunch of bad scripts...
