Cpl Steiner
Hi, CM:SF seems to exhibit one of the early problems of CMx1. When you scan around the map in the setup phase you can hear the enemy talking if you move the camera over their positions. I think you can do this even during game play - i.e. voices seem to carry further than they should and give unreasonably accurate intelligence about enemy positions. Please fix for v1.05.
SgtMuhammed
Yes, you can do this during the game as well. I try to ignore it but sometimes my FO's just can't help but plot some test rounds on that "empty" area.
Other Means
I've noticed rifle sounds long before my units. ISTM that you should at least get a sound contact icon before you the player hear anything.
Mord
I mentioned a work around for this a while back...if you don't want any spoilers while panning, just toggle your sound when you are at a spot you wouldn't normally be able to hear stuff. As I stated then...it's not perfect but works until it can be addressed. Mord.
