I hope that in the new game this weapon will be more effective, not in accuracy but in morale sapping and casualty causing. These rockets were more deadly than their Allied counterparts in that the tnt was in the back of the rocket, not the front. This would mean airburst central.

That's odd; I wouldn't think that the Space Lobsters of Doom would still be using Nebelwerfers.

Steve; while I'm here I would also add that Nebelwerfers must be fixed in the new game.

The way the rockets were designed varied from the Allies and Soviets. The German warhead was in the back rather the front.

This should cause much more airburting as thier design dictates it.

I also hope that nebelwerfers have a much better morale sapping effect in CMx2, BTW I've read that they did more killing through air pressure concussion than Russian and Allied rockets.

I had a nebelwerfer case(large Grey Tube for a single rocket IIRC) somewhere in the garage. found it at a swapmeet and I thought it was cool...don't know where it is now.

That's a pitty, Panzer M, but I thought that they were only fired from those multi-tube revolver like things. (BTW my Grandfather used to make those things as an Ostarbeiter for some years and strangely to my mind very proud to have do so!) AFAIK the individual rockets came wrapped in wicker in a metal box, are you sure you're not mistaken?
