c3k
Gents, Just playing a QB (default settings when you first select Quick Battle) with 3 U.S. platoons. Two mech inf and one scout platoon. My first movement towards the wall, all 3 HQ's unloaded from their respective mounts. No orders to do so. No incoming fire. No one else unloaded. All movement orders completed. Bug or undocumented feature?? Can anyone else confirm, or should I try to replicate this and save the file in case BF.C returns to the forum? Thanks, Ken
George MC
sounds like you selected the grunts to move rather than their vehicles. Check the icon you select. I've done the same myself a few times and wondered why my infantry were running to their detahs whilst their vehciles sat still... Doh! Cheers fur noo George
thewood
I think there was an acknowledged bug in HQ's unloading at the end of movements.
Beastttt
if you use shift+mouse grab for me it always seems to light up 1 of the passangers in a vehicle and I have to make sure to have a vehicle lit up when doing group moves
aka_tom_w
It could be a problem with the group select or band box command. I believe it is a known bug. (I think) -tom w
c3k
Thanks guys. The lack of a consolidated bug list causes these kinds of "re-discovered" bug posts. I do think I'd double-clicked and issued group orders to each of the three platoons. It sounds like that would put what I saw firmly into the "known problems" list.
