Nemesis Lead
Guys, I am soon to be playing a PBEM game and was looking for recommendations on a balanced multi-player scenario. What do you think?
MarkEzra
There are a large number of scen designed for 2 players at www.CMMODS.com Look for QBG 2P vol 1 and 2 QBG designed these scen for PBEM play and are generally balanced, simple, straight forward layouts. C'Rogers
On a somewhat related note: The way I was working it with friends for balanced scenarios was this. One person creates a scenario anyway he wants. Other player chooses which side to play. Forces the creator to think from both sides and make something balanced. But time consuming if you haven't made scenarios before.
Hev
i like that idea. On that note what is "balanced" im assuming something simple like "beatable from both sides"
C'Rogers
Well in multiplayer I think balanced means "the better player will more often win". Or, it is all a matter of skill. To be fair I got the idea from the board game San Marco (not a war game at all, but interesting mechanisms).
Abbott
I would be curious to know what the PBEM file size was as well. Maybe post a brief overview?
