Sgt.Rock of Easy Company
I was just wondering if yall are going to have support for Anti Aliasing and AF in Strike Force. Forced AF seemed to work when on in CM, but when Anti Aliasing was forced (though I believe it would work) it would cause white boxes to cover all text. Just asking, because I was checking the Blog screens and thought that they could be much more crisp if Anti Aliasing was supported. Redwolf
What game are you talking about?
Scipio
Sgt. Rock, my very personal and completly made up opinion is: since CM:SF is based on a new game & graphics engine, we should not encounter the same problems as we have in the CM1x games, which are based on a engine from ~1999 when things like AF & FSAA where not much more than wet dreams.
J Ruddy
Is that why I got those damned white boxes!!!
Scipio
I have not encountered any problems with enforced AA and FSAA. I have a Geforce7900GTO and the Forceware 93.71 driver. But IIRC the Radeon GPUs have a problem with CM!?
Nietzsche
I once tried CM AK with full AA and a ATI-card and got them white boxes too. Haven't bothered to try with any AA since then. So it works now? (With a GF6800 and the latest drivers).
Redwolf
People who buy ATI get what they deserve... Never had a problem with AA and AF in CM. But then, you guess it, I don't buy ATI cards.
dixon_el
Nvida had problems with CM into one of its driver sets two years ago, but quicky resolved the problem in the next update. I've only seen the problem with that particular driver set, but I probably haven't tried every driver, but working in a computer store I've seen a large number of them. ATI and Fords.........who needs them
