pcelt
My query is --can amall arms suppressive fire directed at a buiding wound or kill your own infantry assaulting that building. I seem to recall some debate about this issue re CM1 missions. Appreciate any clarification on this. Thanks
SgtMuhammed
I think it will, the engine seems to track everything flying through the air. I lost a squad because the tank next to them took a hit from a missile. I think friendly fire is a definite possibility.
Dirtweasle
Secondary or collateral damage from a blast is a killer in the game that's for sure. Not sure about ricochets or small arms crossfire kind of deal for sure but my sense is it is potentially deadly too.
Krinks
I lost a man to a ricochet (not friendly fire). They were in an alley, being fired on by a Syrian squad. A tracer bounced off the wall, and struck one of the guys, taking him out.

I have witnessed friendly fire on multiple occasions while playing on Elite mode, mostly on flanking manuevers where one of my squads moves on the side of a building, and my other friendly squad which is supressing that building targets my advancing squad.

Cpl Steiner
I'm pretty sure that when playing the "Metal" demo scenario as the Syrians one of my T-72s hit a Syrian soldier with an MG round when it was firing over the heads of one of my squads. Can't swear to it but it definitely looked like that's what happened.
