mcsquared
I asked this on the Forum and got no responses. Can I use a joystick to drive the tank and fire its weapons in this game. I just downloaded the demo. A response would be greatly appreciated.
Brian Smith
Yes. You need to switch it on in the configuration utility (go Start, Programs, and you'll see it in the T72 demo directory). Joystick is a bit tricky at the moment because the vertical axis is reversed (ie you have to pull back for the barrel to do down).

Don_Rostov
Tried everything, including programs that custum map the joystick-NOTHING WORKS, and the usually helpful forum guys don't like to talk about this flaw.
Wallybob
It would be kinda neat to pull the joystick UP and have the gun tube go UP. It is annoying. Until this is fixed, I am obligated to use the mousy.
T-Debo
I am an ANTI-JOYSTICKER I never use the damn things for anything. They are only frustration generators. All my flight sims are done by keyboard. Just remember to turn off joystick support in the t72 configurator.
Superbus
Any help with the Y-axis problem would be greatly appreciated. It's killing me: I bought a 170 euro joystick (Saitek X52) and it's useless because its software cannot invert the axis for T-72 and there is no option for it in the game. I cannot understand why the makers didn't foresee it - this game is otherwise PERFECT for a joystick. I already mapped ALL of the functions to my X52... then realized I can't play. +++ EDIT: I solved the problem: http://www.battlefront.com/discuss/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=50;t=000047 [ August 03, 2005, 09:12 AM: Message edited by: Superbus ]
