I am now in my 3d campaign stage, and I would like to add that I didn't really feel that I had won the goals in the previous stages, yet t72 has opened up a new stage to move on. I am not complaining, I thought this was good somehow? Maybe it's because I don't know how to ascertain which goals I have accomplished...(BOY!)getting philosophical again...need a drink.

I am an ANTI-JOYSTICKER I never use the damn things for anything. They are only frustration generators. All my flight sims are done by keyboard. Just remember to turn off joystick support in the t72 configurator.

Well guys I can't say it will work for everybody, but here is what I did and since then I only got 1 freeze instead of freezing all the time. Open the t72 configurator and change a lot of stuff to low setting then you will see that it doesn't freeze. A possible culprit is the frequency setting which I suspect is the monitor refresh rate, I have it at 60HZ which is the same as my monitor rate. It seems that even with a high end machine, the game is far too resource hungry. My machine is what is described as high end, but I have toned t72 down a lot to get rid of those horrible lock ups. I think there is something to be done in the code, like optimisation of the code to avoid this, hey I am not a programmer, but it seems this game can't be played to its full graphical potential. There are maybe hundreds of variables, like processors, speed, RAM VGA cards etc, etc. Plus the game is so configurable, I am sure it can take forever to point out what single reason causes the lock ups. The best solution is to tone the game down with the configurator. And if you have a marginal system....then I am afraid 'Spearhead' would be a good alternative!

I found by reducing quite a few of the details in the graphics option the freezes disappeared, though I STILL got one just now.

It is the freezing issue that defies solution. I am sure there is something fundamentally wrong causing this, and I hope, not to hard to fix. It is a show-stopping bug, unfortunately. I got it at all the missions I tried.

My t72 is fine great FPS but I get lock ups. Usually when I am changing views etc. Any ideas how to solve this??

Think of this! I have had my copy come in already a week now, but I am not allowed to open it. My wife says to keep it till she goes on holiday on 11 Aug. So that I have something else to do when she ain't here - instead of going out and merry making!!

Maybe it is installed in the T 72 B version, which i think this sim is depicting.

I have just now received my own t72 copy after pre-ordering. It seems I was the 35th owner.... I am keeping it in its cover till about 11 August. My wife will be going on holiday then and I will be alone at home....with the t72 for company. Besides I am pretty busy nowadays with FS2004 etc... But I look forward to Aug 11....

Please show us a box-shot of the cd box if available....

And the barrel like thing on the back of some t72 pictures that I have seen is presumably an additional fuel tank? Please enlighten us.

Yes dear Mr Moon, Sir, an idea for the future: Possibility to add vegetation on the tank to aid it in camouflage. (No not vegetables!)

I always believe that a game should be more complicated to play than to buy!!! IMHO the purchase was very simple. I live in the U.A.E. I was a bit intoxicated too when I made the purchase, but that didn't make it any more complicated!!!!!

What I would like to mod is tank colours and maybe also the ability to add branches and trees onto the tank.

Can the tanks in t72 generate a smoke screen??

The Krajina hills are depicted in T72. Actually how much 'land' is there in T72?? How many haectares, sq km? Approximately?

I have also pre-ordered t72 BOF - I would appreciate a FREE upgrade in the future that would include the inner views of the 3 drivable tanks.
