Moon Posted July 15, 2005 Share Posted July 15, 2005 You can access the IR view by hitting the PageUp/PageDn repeatedly (this switches between the various gun sight, driver and commander views). You need a video card that is able to handle pixel shaders (I think that's what it was called) though, otherwise you'll only see the plain view. snakeeyes Posted July 15, 2005 Share Posted July 15, 2005 In reality old T-72s don't have thermals direct from the factory (esp Russian factories). Thermal sights were omitted for the longest time because the Soviets always wanted quantity over quality. The sights would be more realistic if they were passive light amplifiers and not thermals. Kind of bugs me but I justify it by saying that a thermal sight was installed by the Serbs.
