Yes, and it's about damn time. I've known about this game for several months now, and the detail in the screenshots is staggering. It's a good thing that Battlefront publishes this game, it fits perfectly into the portfolio of a war simulation specialist.

Now, AFAIK the game is pretty much finished anyway, right? When's the release date? Next week?

Blackmuzzle, no, not next week, but not far away. We forecast Q2, 2005. And don't start asking if it's there yet in April, please

The reason is that while the Russian release has been made at the end of last year I believe, we do want to tweak a few things here and there. We also want to add full online multiplayer as well as a bit more support on the mission and map editor. And lastly, we want to make a top notch localization, and all of this requires testing and dev time.

*nods* I just read the bit about multiplayer in another thread. That's a perfectly reasonable decision, and of course warrants a good deal of development time.

Totally agree. This is a typical Battlefront product. Battlefront is the new MicroProse. At some time I thought UBI soft would claim that title but they've lowered their goals somewhere along the road. Wargaming isn't dead.
