Guest Mike Posted February 1, 2006 Share Posted February 1, 2006 I think htere's a few things I'd like to see in campaigns before I need to use my own pilots. Basically I call it "aircraft production" - damage to factories and airfields depletes aircraft stocks, replaements can be made, new (and I mean BRAND New) pilots provided, new aircraft can come into service and groups can have their aircraft type replaced. Baron von Beergut Posted February 2, 2006 Share Posted February 2, 2006 It would be nice to insert one of your own pilot/wingman teams into a campaign - say if you had one in a similar point range to insert in place of one of the teams in the setup. And most of all: A LOOONG campaign ('39 - '46 (?)) with linked scenarios & different campaign paths depending on how your (own pilots, of course) are doing. For example, if your German pilots manage to win the "Battle of Britain" scenario you will proceed to scenario "Operation Seelöwe". Or successfully countering "Operation Overlord" will bring you to a hypothetical 1944 offensive on the Eastern front. Winning the "Battle for Berlin" will see you flying missions on the side of the Western Allies against the Soviets. Guest Mike Posted March 9, 2006 Share Posted March 9, 2006 Been thinking how you might do ground attack missions with fighter bombers... Have the FB's at a low or medium altitude as current, but they stay there, and they lose a couple of points of performance and 1 HP (at least) while carrying their bombs. They get card hands the same as other fighters and defend using them - but they cannot attack while carrying bombs. They drop their bombs the turn BEFORE the last turn, or they can fail their mission and jettison them at any time before that. These could be maybe on the pilot page below the skills. Also a PVP score list. For instance Kindred Vs Mistura Maybe it helps the PVP.
