Kuniworth
Fortresses got barb wire in certain directions...are they just good in defence in that direction pluse entrenchment or is it in all directions?
Retributar
I am assuming that where the wire-is that is the direction that the defence is. [Now...to get long-winded!] Otherwise, why have the option to construct a 1-sided, 2-sided or 3-sided barbed wire fortification?. If there was not a definite benefit from expending the extra resources and time to build a more robust Fortress, then what would be the point of doing any of it other than doing the minimum?. So, if in fact there is a point to any of it, then im then going to conclude, that the Fortification's facing is also relevant or important as well!. TaoJah
I asked the same question a couple of months ago and they answered that the defence bonus is indeed only applied for attacks across the wire, but that the entrenchement is for all attacks. Someone should re-check this, since the rules for fortifications changed.
Hubert Cater
TaoJah, it should still be the same with the only difference being how units entrench in a Fortress/Fortification... slight modification for v1.03 I believe
