The only 'vanish' I know of, applies to all nations i.e. when a unit is killed off while being in low supply (<5) it dissapears from the force pool. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. You ought to take your hostilities to Buntaland, where it would be nurtured and allowed to grow. As to the topic of British troops vanishing, I had a French algebra teacher who fought in 1940.
