Kuniworth
Would be nice with a button that toggles sound on and off. In case you like to listen to music in the background.
Kuniworth
I mean I know there is a sound effect option but you can still here all the clicking sounds.
Retributar
True Kuni!!!, ... it is imperative to be able to turn OFF!!! the 'SOUND'!...for the reason's you just stated...and as well...occasionally...for what-ever 'OTHER-REASON',...one may need to utilize that option from time to time!. Hubert Cater
With SC2 if you deselect the sound option it turns off all sounds including clicks.
jon_j_rambo
@Kuni --- Speaking of toggles, how many times are you going to toggle your name between Kuni & Kuniworth? What exactly is a Kuni?
JerseyJohn
Kuni, Glad you brought this up. I remember Hubert saying a long time ago that he'd make the new game sound free, but it's good to hear it officially. Hubert Excellent decision. I guess a lot of people have the same preference as myself, Kuni and Retributer. I like to put tons of music on the hard drive and listen to it through anything that we happen to be doing. I know that loud click, very reminiscent of all the things I hated about the good old mechanical days, always drove me up a wall. In Civ III it's almost right except no matter what you do every once in a while some idiotic bird has to warble. The first few times that happened with sounds off I was looking around to see if something were nesting on one of my window sills. Brother Rambo, I'm just glad it stopped being K-worth. Kuniworth
This is good news Hubert. As Kaptain Karl said; I just can't take it any longer.
