germanys amphibious capability

Is there some way to limit the amount of units germnay can use per turn for amphibious invasion.Ive done my research & germany didnt have the shipping available to invade with the whole army at once.Just a thought.

Your point need's to be addressed arado234 , even though im not up on Germany's amphibious capability, i know that it wasn't much of anything!.

So as you say, their should be a limit to what each nation is capable of transporting.

No limit at the present but it costs ALOT to amphib a unit. So in a way its you MPPs that limit how much you can send to sea.

I find it is ok. Yes Germany was limited, by choice maybe.

If you the player decide to go a different route and invest heavily in amphibious bia paying those MPPs or/and investing in amphibious technology then it is your choice.

And Germany is limited in range compared to other countries.

Its an abstraction at best A234, no connection to reality, just mechanics representation.

Actually, corps size units should be the only ones doing amphibious operations, perhaps the Allies could do some Armies and Tanks in 44 at the earliest.

I would also include a limiting of mobility tech level one(maybe IW=1 also) to represent the training and necessary investment in landing craft to conduct proper assaults on enemy beaches.

I agree with Blashy - Germany's poor amphibious capability is a result, to some extent, of choice (and of previous errors such as loss of colonies in WWI). so if Germany choses to invest in Amphibious capability to correct this then fine. Germany clearly could build shipping if it wanted to.

To an extent this is what I want from SC2 - not what was but what was possible.

Agreed here too. I would limit what can be carried by Amphibious tech - HQ and Corps initially then larger units at higher levels.
