Jon Patrick
okay, so I just read that (hopefully it wasn't a joke) the game may be out as soon as late this month, early next. Why not offer presales if you're that close? then at least those of us salivating for the game can get the feeling we're moving closer, have made progress, in the queue.... you get the idea. Thanks! Sombra
Same question was asked a few month before. simple answer was the moment you preorder your credit card will be cashed. A game is open to preorder round about 2 weeks before its in "the stores".

John C
Yep, you just want to have a fairly high level of confidence in the date before you open any presales or else you open yourself up to a lot of administrative headaches when people change their mind and blame it on "you said...". Marcus the smiling leper
Could I maybe just send in money so that I start to get a warm feeling in anticipation of getting the game? Or does that sound too desparate?

Marcus the smiling leper
Deal, and maybe that way, with hordes of money sent in without an official pre ordering confirmed, Battlefront would begin to feel bad for us and send a beta to tide us over until the game is released. Now, that is not only desparate, but foolishley optomistic, no?
santabear
Marcus, dude, don't send in money to BF, buy a dictionary first... ...seriously... I first encountered "SC classic" in the downloadable DEMO that's on this site. It was a great way to get a feel for the game and to see if I would like it. Hopefully, BF will continue it's practice of providing demos, * calls into wilderness * AND WILL PROVIDE A DEMO OF SC2 SOON...soon...soon...soo...so...s... Marcus the smiling leper
Santabear, my man, I have been playin the demo for about six months, and despite the pain of logging every night without the ability to save my game, I have resisted the temptation to buy "SC classic" because I have been waiting for SC2. Are you saying I am waiting in vain? Is the pain of playing without the save feature only a harbinger of the next six months. Me not stupid, me fingers just fast Santa, my man, me a good speller
jacob lundgren
With this game closing in as it seems to a release, I had to reactivate my old account, or revive to be more precise. Even had to reactivate and old email account so it would send me my password to actualy log in.
